The current document trial of former President Donald Trump in New York City’s Manhattan Courthouse has become a significant concern for those who believe in the Blind Lady of Justice.
The question before the American people is whether “Equal Justice Under the Law,” the phrase atop our U.S. Supreme Court building in Washington, exists in our country today.
One look at the four over-the-top prosecutions of President Trump points to clear and dangerous judicial political activism.
Imagine yourself in Trump’s shoes. Fortunately for him, he has bottomless pockets to defend himself, employing the best legal defense team available. For the rest of us, the rigged liberal court system in some parts of our country would eat us alive.
Clearly, you are only guaranteed a chance of justice here in America, not a guarantee of justice.
Bill Bunkley is an 18-year veteran Salem Media talk show host based in Tampa. The Bill Bunkley Show airs weekdays across central Florida from 3 to 6 pm.
