All of us experience, in one way or another, at one time or another, the storms that make their way into our lives.
A wise old saying held that every moment of our life is made up of three storm forecasts: either we are in a storm, just exiting a storm, or experiencing clear sailing with a storm awaiting on the horizon.
In fact, as you look around at a sold-out auditorium or sports stadium, you can pretty well bet that behind all those smiles, the majority of the people have a storm issue in the back of their minds.
We all have stormy periods, but how do you navigate through the storm-tossed seas of life?
For me, I’ve learned when facing the storms in my life to turn and cast all my care upon my Savior Jesus Christ, for he always navigates me through the storm.
Bill Bunkley is a 15-year veteran Salem Radio talk show host based in west-central Florida, airing weekdays 3 to 6 pm. Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, which serves as legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Churches throughout Florida), among other churches and entities. He has served as legislative consultant to the Convention for the last 24 years at the state capitol in Tallahassee.
