“Politics in Prime Time”
The Democrats demonstrated Thursday night how desperate they are in light of the absolute plunge of their leader and their party in the eyes of a vast majority of Americans.
Their doomsday reckoning is inching closer to event number one: the mid-term elections. The second will be event number two, the 2024 Presidential elections.
The partisan “politics in prime time” event was an “all hands on deck” of the sinking Democrat ship to stop Donald Trump in his tracks at all costs.
It was a slick, partisan congressional show trial featuring narrowly edited video clips.
Let me be clear; I denounce everything about the illegal entry of those into the U. S. Capitol on January 6th.
But let me also be clear that this prime-time event was solely intended to peal as many Trump supporters as possible from his reelection support.
Bill Bunkley is a 16-year veteran Salem Radio talk show host based in west-central /Florida, airing weekdays 3 to 6 pm. Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, which serves as legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Churches throughout Florida), among other churches and entities. He has served as legislative consultant to the Convention for the last 26 years at the state capitol in Tallahassee. By the Grace of his Lord Jesus, he is a cancer survivor diagnosed in 2018 with AML Leukemia, having successfully undergone a bone marrow transplant that same year.
