As the country moves into their summer vacations, the Congress, particularly the U. S. Senate, continues to focus on President Donald Trump and whether there was any collusion or obstruction of justice between his team and the Russians.
On the heels of the very controversial Senate Intelligence Committee testimony given by FBI Director James Comey on these very subjects, a very determined and eager Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, requested an appearance in the lion’s den in yet another open session of questioning.
When Democrats put forth accusations based on innuendo, a fiery Session pushed them right back.
Meanwhile, the White House is researching some potentially troubling information that FBI Director Comey is responsible for not just one leak, but potentially may be the source of multiple leaks to the New York Times dating back to last March.
