The U. S. Supreme Court delivered a decisive victory for the 1st Amendment right to religious liberty and freedom.
In a rare 9-0 decision, the high court walked in lockstep to reiterate that the new moral revolutionist will not be allowed to push aside and cancel the constitutional protects afforded to men and women of faith and the institutions they sanction.
The city of Philadelphia had declared that Catholic Social Services either had to work with same-sex couples in their foster care services or no longer be an approved foster care agency.
Catholic Social Services would not compromise their Christian-based principles. They sued and just won at the Supreme Court.
That means the 1st Amendment still protects a Christian’s closely held convictions of their faith principles.
