I have good news for Christian veterans visiting or receiving services at the James A. Haley or Bay Pines VA Hospitals, as well as at VA clinics.
The VA revised its policies and will now be “permitting religious literature, symbols and displays at VA facilities to protect religious liberty for veterans and family while insuring inclusivity and non-discrimination.”
What immediately comes to my mind is the moving testimony of the “Missing Man” table display at VA Hospitals. In this poignant POW/MIA display, Bibles had been removed from the table in some VA hospitals.
Christian displays are back.
God and His Holy Word have given great comfort and direction on many a battlefield.
These displays will reaffirm that He will do the same for veterans while facing their health challenges.
