Hillsborough County could decide soon to smell up the entire county.
Property taxpayers take notice.
If you are a Hillsborough homeowner paying property taxes there are three areas of note that you don’t want to see a cut in services: Sheriff’s protection, fire/EMT protection and timely trash pickup.
Today I am talking trash.
Currently Hillsborough folks have 2 day a week trash pick-up, which keeps putrid trash from accumulating in our hot, humid, Florida weather.
Hillsborough is looking at cutting trash pickup to 1 day a week. That would be a bad, smelly decision.
My huge, county provided trash can, would be overflowing with trash if left to a weekly pickup.
Hillsborough residents, call your county commissioners and tell them to “trash” the idea of once a week garbage pickups.
