I’ve just returned from my second earthly home, Montana.

There is something about getting away to Montana high up in the Rocky Mountains that gives my soul rest from the crazy, often foolish world surrounding us living in the big cities.

It’s my beloved second home because my mother’s side of the family has been proud “Big Sky” residents for generations. As a child each summer, we traveled by car to Montana from Tampa: seven days out, seven back, a couple of weeks in between for family and adventure.

The result: a lifelong “Montana State of Mind.” 

Whether it’s driving the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier Park, the Old Faithful Geyser and buffalo at Yellowstone Park, fly fishing, horseback riding, or just chilling, consider Montana for a future vacation destination.

He has served as legislative consultant to the Convention for the last 24 years at the state capitol in Tallahassee.
