Most people would agree that it was a terrible idea to pay unemployed Floridians more than the wages they received before the COVID pandemic put them out of work.

Now that our economy is open, Florida businesses continue to struggle because they can’t get people to come back to work. Many are reprogramed to think receiving inflated jobless benefits, and not being engaged in productive work, is their new normal.

Except for socialists, a standard paradigm is if you are non-disabled and don’t work, you don’t eat. 

Now Governor DeSantis has been sued to restore the $300 WEEKLY Federal jobless benefits he cut off. 

The lawsuit is evidence of how selfish many of the state's new couch potatoes have become.

Let’s hope the suit is quickly dismissed; it's time for all to be back at work.
