“Show Your Support for Snooty’s Caregivers”
Bill Bunkley with Something To Think About
You knew it would only be a matter of time before animal rights activists would picket Bradenton’s South Florida Museum.
They’ve done it to SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, and the historic Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Now they’re focusing on another long standing history in Bradenton marked by the passing of their best-known ambassador “Snooty” the manatee.
It’s obvious that the longest living manatee in captivity, maybe worldwide, must have been well cared for to live 69 years. A tragic accident, I repeat an accident, claimed Snooty’s life.
This Saturday a protest ‘Justice for Snooty,” is demanding resignations from the very museum employees responsible for Snooty’s longevity.
Residents of Bradenton, I say bring your kids, grandkids, and great grandkids out to the museum at 1:00 Saturday and counter demonstrate against these outsiders by showing your full support for the South Florida Museum employees.
I’m Bill Bunkley. Catch my show weekday’s at 4.
