Americans are hated and being hunted in Afghanistan. That was the chilling analysis from Fox News’s Harris Faulkner as details of the two coordinated suicide bombings unfolded.
At the time of writing this commentary, 10 Marines, 2 Army soldiers, 1 Navy corpsman are dead, 18 more service members wounded.
They were courageously on the front lines, desperately identifying Americans who were among hundreds of Afghans waiting in a half-mile line at the airport’s Abbey gate.
This didn’t have to happen. This changes everything.
American blood has been shed. Creditable sources warn more bloodshed is expected.
President Biden must order an immediate, forceful response. We must impose our will in this horrible situation.
With President Biden’s cognition in serious question, this is THE worst-case scenario many have feared.
