“New College’s Conservative Reorientation Gets Biden Education Department Probe”
Sarasota’s New College conservative reorientation pushed through by Governor DeSantis is now targeted by one of his chief political rivals, President Joe Biden. Biden’s Department of Education has launched a civil rights probe against “Little Hillsdale,” as the governor affectionately refers to the institution.
DeSantis says he appointed conservative trustees who reoriented the university from being left of the left to being a school of classical education.
The gender studies department was abolished, and gender-neutral bathroom signage were removed.
A civil rights misgendered complaint was lodged by the former gender studies director and a former student who preferred to be referred to as “ze/zir” and “they/them” pseudo-pronouns.
So, the Feds are set to spend your tax dollars again on another politically motivated investigation.
