“To The MAGA Faithfull: It Ain’t Over”

Bill Bunkley’s “This Is Something to Think About”

Air Date Monday, September 16, 2023

To quote the distinguished philosopher Yogi Berra, "It ain't over until it's Over."

The debate with Vice President Kamala Harris was a painful ordeal for the MAGA faithful. The three-on-one interrogation and the sarcastic pseudo-smugness of perpetual hand-waving Harris were a bit much to endure.

Gloom and despair quickly descended on MAGA country as President Trump did not have his best night.

Or did he?

Trump insists he had a great night and won the debate. He may be right.

Notwithstanding all the back-and-forth debate opinions, it appears that independents and undecideds, the focus of the debate, did not buy what Kamala was spinning.

Nate Silver, a well-regarded Democrat pollster and Harris supporter still maintains Trump has at least a 60-40 or better chance of beating Kamala in the Electoral College.

By that measure, Trump has a point.
