Life has been anything but normal.
Hurricane Irma was a disrupting force for everyone on the Florida peninsula, and some have a long recovery before them.
For those from Mexico not one but a second devastating earthquake is on their minds as many have loved ones back in the affected regions. Strangely enough, before the second quake hit a remembrance was held that morning marking another big tremor that previously hit on the same date.
And how about our Puerto Rican neighbors who have been watching helplessly as their families and friends hunkered down as Hurricane Maria slammed our American territory with Cat 5, truly catastrophic winds, rain and storm surge.
Altogether these challenging events make for some remarkable experiences here in Central Florida as we all consider how much more important our family and friends are when compared to our material possessions.
