Just when you thought the Presidential Election could not get any more intense, Friday night rolled in.
The liberal lioness of the Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, succumbed to her battle with cancer. And that set off a volcanic political explosion triggering a tsunami that washed over the nation’s capital.
As the country pays respect to the late Justice, President Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnel must immediately move forward with a confirmation hearing and a vote. This opportunity is why Trump ran.
I’m pulling for an originalist, Florida 11th Circuit Hispanic Appellate Judge Barbara Lagoa to be chosen. She’s young and would serve the court for decades.
Nothing is more important in this election than securing a 6 to 3 conservative court.
Seize the day.
