“Debating Republicans Should Take Heed of Ronald Reagan’s Fiscal Advice”

Last night, the 2024 Republican presidential hopefuls, minus the clear frontrunner, met for debate number 2 at the prestigious Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.

I’ve had the honor of being there, and the spirit and values of “The Gipper” descend and influence you throughout your visit.

Fox Business hosted the debate, which brought in two giant elephants of focus to the event: The economy and the irresponsible federal debt that is and will crush middle-class Americans in the future.

As the candidates on the podium maneuvered to “outconservative” each other, I hope they remember and take heed of President Reagan’s position back in July of 1982, where he supported a constitutionally required balanced budget just as we have here in Florida’s constitution.

Reagan was right then, and he’s still right in 2023.
