Just as you are maxed out with all the controversies, now comes the U.S. Supreme Court session.
And on the first day, there was an element of uncertainty as Justice Clarence Thomas was absent due to illness. No medical details were given, but with an evenly split court, with originalist-oriented justices having a slight edge, every vote crucial.
Does a funeral home have a right to terminate the employment of a male employee who has decided to identify as a woman, to dress as a woman?
Should abortion clinic doctors be required to have admitting privileges at the closest hospital? Could that decision overturn Roe vs. Wade?
And will religious schools be banned from receiving tax dollars for tuition assistance?
Votes on just these three major cases could alter the paradigms among us.
