Later tonight, America may experience the beginning of a significant watershed moment.
A watershed moment is defined as a turning point, the exact moment that changes the direction of an activity or situation. It is a dividing point, from which things will never be the same. It is considered momentous.
No two words better describe the confirmation by the U. S. Senate of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.
Decades of liberal activists’ rulings on the high court are coming to an end. These moments we are witnessing will ultimately guide the course of America along a conservative path, also for decades to come.
It's quite remarkable that one President in a four-year term would get to seat three new Justices, something that historical revisionist can never erase.
Bill Bunkley is a 14-year veteran Salem Radio Network talk show host based in west-central Florida, airing weekdays 3 to 6 PM. Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, which serves as legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Churches throughout Florida), among other churches and entities. He has served as legislative consultant to the Convention for the last 24 years at the state capitol in Tallahassee.
