Pew Research has updated its survey on the religious landscape of the United States. The results indicate that those identifying themselves as Christian have seen a significant decline.
The survey was taken in 2018 into 2019.
In it, 65% of those polled said they would identify themselves as Christian. That is a 12% drop from when asked a decade ago.
Those who identified as atheist, agnostic or “nothing in particular” is now at 26%. That number represents a whopping 17% increase from a decade ago.
There is an enormous need to educate and share the Good News Gospel right here in America. Many have not been introduced to Jesus. I was reminded of that fact when recently, I met a Brazilian national who is serving as a missionary to America.
