“Milwaukee Fans Buying Cheaper St. Pete World Series Tickets”

Bill Bunkley’s “This Is Something to Think About

Air Date Thursday, October 22, 2026

Buying World Series tickets is out of reach for many Tampa Bay families. But that’s not stopping some from going into debt to watch a little baseball history.

What's interesting is that even with the high-ticket prices, Milwaukee fans are buying Tampa tickets because they’re much cheaper.

As I’m writing, Friday’s Milwaukee opening game tickets are around $3,100 and up. Tampa’s Monday game is currently averaging $766 to $3,000 a ticket.

The ticket disparity is motivating more Milwaukee fans to travel to St. Pete, because they can book a flight, beachside hotel, and tickets with a better chance of seeing the deciding game in the series for a cost comparable to just one game in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee fans, we’ll take your money and spend generously!

But our Rays are going to win it all.
