“Let Your Personal Autonomous AI Agent Shop for You”

Bill Bunkley’s “This Is Something to Think About

Air Date Friday, October 23, 2026

Times are changing, and they’re changing fast. The way we shop is transforming before our very eyes.

First, it was a small startup company named Amazon. In 1995, it was an online bookseller. Today, you can buy just anything from their platform and have it shipped directly to you.

Next up, you can program your own autonomous AI Agent to search and make shopping decisions with or without your personal confirmation.

Walmart is leading the retail pack with an AI Agent that can make purchases on shoppers' behalf. It’s called agentic e-commerce. It can set spending limits, monitor purchases, and execute purchases with or without human approval for each transaction.

AI is changing everything.

And soon you can have your personal robot take care of all those monotonous household chores.
