“Will New York City Vote For Extreme Socialism”
Bill Bunkley’s “This Is Something to Think About”
Air Date Tuesday, November 4, 2025
It’s voting day in key elections around the country. But, arguably, the most watched and consequential vote will come down in the New York City Mayor’s election.
In a three-way race between extreme socialist Democrat Zohran Mamdani, Independent Andrew Como, and Republican Curtis Silwa.
Mamdani leads in the polls, but will New Yorkers go to the polls and elect an extreme socialist, who many believe is more in the communist column, bribing voters with a litany of free stuff, and has called for the defunding of the New York City Police Department.
A victory for Mamdani could signal an opening for immigrant candidates to expand local political power in America, as we have witnessed in Great Britain and across Europe, and a mass exodus of city residents.
