The final chapter of the 2024 Presidential General Election has been written.
Today, patriots have a keen sense of the precious gift our Founding Fathers left us in the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, culminating in the Republic form of government they gave us.
Today, Dr. Franklin, in answer to that infamous question you posed to Mrs. Powell upon exiting Independence Hall in Philadelphia, we have indeed retained our Republic, at least for now.
It’s a bright morning in America again.
The Bible instructs us in Lamentations 3:22, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new each morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Now is not the time to gloat.
Now is the time to humbly thank the Lord in Heaven for this decisive miracle that ONLY He could provide.
Bill Bunkley is an 18-year veteran Salem Media talk show host based in Tampa. The Bill Bunkley Show airs weekdays across central Florida from 3 to 6 pm. Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, which serves as the legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Convention Churches), among other churches and entities.
