“Election Day: For All the Marbles”
It is election day. Votes tabulated tonight and into tomorrow will be for all the marbles.
All eyes will be on the “too close to call” results of control of the US Senate. With the House considered a “shoe-in” for the GOP by honest experts on both sides of the political spectrum, Senate control by the GOP will stop President Biden’s destructive policies from expanding, except for executive orders.
Governor Ron DeSantis and Senator Marco Rubio have victory in their races comfortably in sight. Don’t let that or talk about a Republican “sweep” up and down the ticket deter you from voting.
It’s not just about who will win but by how wide a margin. Christ’s followers and conservatives can send a strong message of rejection of socialism across the entire country.
Be sure you are a part of that critical message by your vote.
Bill Bunkley is a 16-year veteran Salem Media talk show host based in Tampa. The Bill Bunkley Show airs weekdays across central Florida from 3 to 6 pm.
