President-Elect Donald Trump is demonstrating that he learned a lot about organizing his White House administration from his first term in office. He’s had a long time to strategize about what he wants to accomplish in his second term and is wasting no time getting his MAGA team in place.

With both the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives securely in Republican hands and an undeniable mandate from American voters, he will move quickly with their support to reshape not only the massive federal bureaucracy but also the global political and military landscape during his first two years in office.

Trump’s Cabinet selections reflect his MAGA revenge. Rejecting conventional approaches to Cabinet position qualifications, he will place his philosophical stamp on every aspect of governance via the absolute loyalty of his team.

Bill Bunkley is an 18-year veteran Salem Media talk show host based in Tampa. The Bill Bunkley Show airs weekdays across central Florida from 3 to 6 pm. Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, which serves as the legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Convention Churches), among other churches and entities. He has served as the legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention for the last 28 years at the state capitol in Tallahassee. By the Grace of his Lord Jesus, he is today a cancer survivor diagnosed in 2018 with AML Leukemia, having successfully undergone a bone marrow transplant that same year. His wife is Toni, son is Zac, and they attend Idlewild Baptist Church.
