Alcohol and drug abuse are not the only major social problems in our communities

There is at least a third plague that is a menace to America and our Central Florida communities: human trafficking.

America’s growing appetite for illicit sex is an addiction that is a much greater threat than most citizens realize. Recently, a Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office five-month human trafficking sting netted 100+ arrests, with two of the accused bidding with undercover officers over who would get to be with a 13-year-old!

Internet pornography’s deceptive lure is rampant, tempting millions into a dead-end disaster, both for themselves and the one they are objectifying to satisfy their lusts.

Law enforcement is right to go aggressively after sexual predators. Our children are at great risk.
