Thanksgiving is over, and it is on to Christmas.
But before we move on, I think a time of reflection is in order.
Most of us probably had a sense of a little cloud hovering over our activities these last few days. The shadow I’m referring to is that all-encompassing nuisance called the coronavirus and all the various tentacles of disruption, financial setback, fear and yes, in some cases, the loss of a loved one or friend.
As much as we tried to shake off that cloud, it was there in our minds just as it has been since last March.
But amid our scaled-back Thanksgiving family traditions and activities, there was a quiet spirit of Thankfulness to God for his ever-present presence these last few months.
With uncharted waters ahead, now is the time to deepen your walk with Him.
