In Florida, we’ve been watching a nation full of nonsense and liberal deception regarding public policy dealing with the coronavirus.
I am thankful I live in Florida.
Governor DeSantis is right to say that Florida will not shut down its economy again. Florida will not close our schools again. Florida will not require the wearing of masks.
His message expresses personal responsibility as each of us venture out in public.
More significant harm would be inflicted on our Florida families if he shut down the state economy. Kids will suffer more being out of school. It's up to individuals and businesses to set their mask policy. Government must focus on extra protections for the elderly and those with immune system deficiencies.
It’s a balanced approach backed up by real science.
Bill Bunkley is a 15-year veteran Salem Radio talk show host based in west-central Florida, airing weekdays 3 to 6 PM.
