“Time To Hit the Brakes on Biden’s Electric Vehicle Mandate”

Bill Bunkley’s “This Is Something to Think About”

Air Date Monday, December 4, 2023

The American public is speaking. They are speaking with their pocketbooks because they aren’t interested in buying a new electric vehicle.

I am sure that does not come to you as a surprise.

The backstory? Thousands of dealerships across America are pleading with President Biden to put the brakes on his heavy-handed EV sales mandates.

Americans do not want the EV vehicles the dealerships are pushing. Brand-new EV vehicles are stacking up on the dealership’s sales lots.

In their own words, 3,700 dealerships in lockstep are telling Biden his pressure to sell two out of three new EV vehicles by 2032 is “highly unrealistic.”

As the left always does, they are overplaying their hand with these Green New Deal mandates. Hopefully, the marketplace, not the government, will once again ultimately dictate what American consumers will buy.
