Finally, there is a glimmer of hope that U. S. House and Senate Republicans are growing a little backbone to take a stand against our imperial President, Joe Biden.

After months and months of millions of illegal aliens crossing over our southwestern borders, causing “blinking red lights” of terrorist warnings here and abroad, Republicans say they will oppose Biden’s $106 billion supplemental aid request that would require further concessions to watering down border security efforts and expansion of asylum opportunities. Further, that means a border security package will NOT be tied to Ukrainian war funding. 

Republican Speaker Mike Johnson stated that their insistence on a stand-alone bill regarding border security was a “hill to die on.”

I agree, and I am encouraged by this declaration.

 Let’s pray the Republicans don’t back down.
