The people of Alabama will speak tomorrow.
With sexual harassment an issue front and center in American politics, it will be interesting to see how Alabamians respond to the flood of media and direct mail messaging.
It looks like Judge Roy Moore will win the election.
I base that not on the head to head polling, as too many people there will not tell out-of-town pollsters they’re voting for Moore.
Rather, I look at lopsided polls indicating people there don’t believe the allegations against the judge, coupled with the fact Roy Moore continues to deny any wrongdoing.
If elected…..the question will be “Is there a distinction between the ‘sometime in the future’ resignation of disgraced Senator Al Franken and a duly elected Judge Roy Moore, with his state’s fresh backing notwithstanding sexual harassment allegations against him?
Stay tuned; the Senate drama is about to begin.
