“Children in Crises”

Bill Bunkley With Something To Think About.

Experts are telling us that adolescent anxiety and depression are on the rise. And child, yes child suicide rates are also increasing.

From 1999 through 2015, 1309 children ages 5 to 12 ended their lives.

I am convinced that the long-term effect of absentee fathers, a 50% divorce rate and bullying can all play a role in this serious problem.

Add to that the harmful overuse of smartphones and pads is becoming more understood.

Excessive screen viewing is disrupting kids ability to pay attention and build meaningful relationships. It alters the neural pathways of their developing brains.

Parents it’s time to cut back on the kid's screen time and substitute it with quality time you. I ’d also suggest talking about the role God is playing in their young lives.
