President Trump is learning that maneuvering through the Washington obstacle course is on par with negotiating the rapids of a Class VI whitewater challenge.
By boldly and quickly enacting key components of his campaign pledges, Trump’s made it quite clear he is no typical politician: he meant what he said, and he’s enacting what he promised.
But having established that point, it’s time for the President to focus less on the next rapid fire response to an issue that, granted, probably needs immediate attention, to making sure his cabinet member responsible for that issue is settled in and ready to effectively and clearly execute the administration’s directive.
It’s time the President makes some necessary, navigational adjustments.
Charting a course thru the Washington bureaucracy and its accompanying press corps is a whole different animal than spearheading a highly efficient, entrepreneurial organization.
