Former FBI Director James Comey struck back at President Trump, but that’s not the only person he settled some scores with.
He dropped a bombshell on Obama Administration Attorney General Loretta Lynch, saying she asked Comey not to refer to a Hillary Clinton investigation, but rather a Hillary Clinton matter.
Guess what? Comey complied!
Not since the Anita Hill - Clarence Thomas affair unfolded, President Bill Clinton’s what the definition of “is” is in the Monica Lewinski affair, and of course the Nixon Watergate Hearings, has so much attention centered on a Congressional inquiry.
And not since J. Edgar Hoover has an FBI Director been in such a controversial light.
We are far from knowing all the facts, but one thing is for certain, James Comey demonstrated he is quite the political operative himself.
Queue his tell-all book and movie deal.
