MEET PASTOR BURROWS

I was born on the Island of New Providence in the Bahamas. Both my parents were and are committed christians so I cannot remember when church and Jesus were not a part of my life. I accepted Christ as my savior at the age of 9 and have never looked back. I often tell people that I truly love the church both the organism and the organization.

At the age of fourteen I attended my church's annual Missions Conference and was deeply moved by a message from Isaiah 6:8 which states; "⁸ Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

In that moment I knew my life calling was to serve God in vocational ministry. Upon graduation from high school I enrolled in Florida Bible College, Hollywood, Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Education and Pastoral Studies. Further studies have led to a Master's Degree in Christian counseling and a Ph.D. in Religious Philosophy.

Some of my most rewarding ministry experiences have been the years I spent in youth ministry. As I observe the now adults who were evangelized and nurtured in the faith and now serve God with zeal and conviction I am humbled.
