God's Promises Are Yea and Amen

In this episode of The Crucified Message, Dr. Tony Young, Jr. teaches from 2 Peter 3:8-9 and 2 Corinthians 1:20 that every promise of God is “yea and amen.” He reminds listeners that God’s promises are not based on our performance—Abraham, Noah, Jacob, and David all failed yet still received what God had spoken. The second key truth is that God’s promises do not need our frantic activity; they need our agreement. The “yea” comes from God; the “amen” must come from us. Drawing from Mary’s response to the angel and Moses at the Red Sea, Dr. Young calls believers to stop questioning the Word and start standing on it.

A powerful word of encouragement for anyone waiting on a promise.
