 Today is Good Friday. For Christians, it’s a time to reexamine their commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Yesterday was Maundy Thursday, the foot washing and last supper of Jesus Christ, His overnight arrest, persecution, and illegal trial that led to His death by crucifixion.  

Good Friday is the day when Jesus spent 6 hours nailed to a Roman cross before succumbing to the Roman torture. Sunday, Christians will celebrate his glorious resurrection.

Our culture has pulled away from our Judeo-Christian roots. The further our culture drifts away, the more peace and joy are diminished.

Consider the meaning of Holy Week and today’s Good Friday in your life.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for Your shed blood on the cross, providing forgiveness for our sins.
