“National Police Week”

Bill Bunkley’s “This Is Something to Think About”

Air Date Thursday, May 14, 2026

This week is National Police Week, and I honor the men and women in law enforcement all across America.

After four years of President Biden and Congressional Democrats with their declaration of war on the nation’s police, President Trump has restored the respect officers in blue deserve.

Last year, the U. S. murder rate posted its largest single-year drop in the last 125 years. Violent crime also saw sharp declines.

Major cities experienced reductions in rapes, robberies, assaults, shootings, traffic fatalities, overdoses, and officer deaths.

Reversing soft-on-crime policies, ending cashless bail, DEI mandates, and targeting criminal illegal aliens have all supported law enforcement.

Thank a law enforcement member this week for their service to your community.
